Richardson. I was reading through your blogs on the Richardson lines and came across this blog and remembered the names of Hegwer and Danes, so I began looking through my records and searching online for records with these names. I found a 1900 census from Precinct 8 in Colorado which lists Moses Liverman, age 51 born in Missouri, Jennie, Liverman age 36 born in Illinois, and Kenneth Liverman, age 6 born in Colorado. He is the right age for the Kenneth in the newspaper article. Jennie is the name of the woman listed with Kenneth in the household of the McCrackens. Moses mother Teresa is also in the census and she is from Germany. Kenneth and his mother both went to Germany.
Then I found an 1870 U. S. Census for Nebraska which lists an Albert Danes born in Illinois in 1857 with a sister, Jennie, born in Illinois in 1864. I think all of these records are for Jennie Danes Liverman. Do you have any other information on Jennie Liverman and Albert Danes?Rosalie Richardson Vilandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10737136955480409782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227235601381982501.post-18444311247915044292016-05-27T22:47:20.023-07:002016-05-27T22:47:20.023-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.W, T and Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13203529503837199030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227235601381982501.post-90360339081622204482016-05-27T22:46:49.759-07:002016-05-27T22:46:49.759-07:00I was searching for the old St. Charles ward house...I was searching for the old St. Charles ward house when I stumbled onto this site. Most of the history of the counties books can be found, read, & searched on google ebooks. They are a treasure trove of information from the past. The people that wrote & contributed to the books, some of which are over 100 years old, knew a lot more about the old towns in Ohio than anyone today could possibly know. Johann Andreas Fritze was my Great Great Grandfather. My family has a lot of the history on where he was a Pastor for the Lutheran Church and all of the history regarding their move to Kansas. She (Caroline) went with her younger children to Kansas of which I am a descendant. My mother and father have more information and I can pass their contact information along to you, if you would like. I believe they may have other pictures of her as well. This and higher sheet numbers were reserved for people missed on the first sweep of the enumerator through the neighborhood. S/he might not have found the family at home, or only had information about part of the adults there, left an absentee blank form to be filled out, and then later picked them up. Those forms were transferred, per the enumerator's instructions, to a sheet with the number 61A or higher (regardless of what the actual page number was in the ED's sequence.)

Notice on this page you can see the Family #, and you can then go back to previous pages to see the "main" household members.

Joel Weintraub
Dana Point, CAUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03427311250015261520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227235601381982501.post-49035025379272740692012-08-12T13:56:37.460-07:002012-08-12T13:56:37.460-07:00Happy blogiversary!Happy blogiversary!Amy Coffin, MLIShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00612044786240692282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5227235601381982501.post-66840592973170713182012-08-11T12:01:44.780-07:002012-08-11T12:01:44.780-07:00Happy Blogiversary!-Enjoyed your census story.Happy Blogiversary!-Enjoyed your census story.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11686141155733545208noreply@blogger.com
